Tongasabi is a travel agency that specializes in safaris to destinations in Southern Africa; Botswana, Namibia, Malawi, Zambia, Mozambique, Zimbabwe and South Africa. We have travelled extensively in Southern Africa since 1994. Because we are passionate about this marvelous part of the African continent we offer a large variety of trips to the customer. Camping Safaris

Tongasabi offers adventurous camping safaris which allows you to truly experience nature. We especially recommend this type of safari in Botswana; a country that is sparsely populated that offers large unpopulated areas and well preserved nature and wildlife due to conservation.It is a relatively cheap way of travelling that enables one to be close to nature and experience its sounds, animals and landscapes in full extent. We especially recommend the Botswana Adventure Trail.

Accommodated Tours

In case you prefer more comfort than a camping safari has to offer, it is an option to choose for an accommodated safari. In this type of safari we stay in two or three star accommodation. An accommodated tour also allows one to keep more distance to the animals. Examples of accommodated tours are our Scenic South Africa Tour and the Botswana Lodge Safari.

Luxury and Exclusive Safaris

We also cater for luxury and exclusive safari’s. This type of safari is usually custom made and allows the customer to creating a unique itinerary and to fulfill personal requests. Popular destinations for these types of trips are Zambia, Botswana and South Africa.

Custom Made Travel

We offer custom made tours to groups, families and individual travelers. Travel itineraries can be made based on the customers wishes. Custom made travel is possible for any kind of trip; camping, accommodated or exclusive safaris. We cater for individuals, couples, families and groups of 25+ travelers. We also supply safari bus hire inclusive of driver for groups up to 32 passengers per vehicle.

Tours for Physically Challenged

To enable everyone to be able to experience going on safari we offer trips for physically challenged individuals. This could either be a tour for a small group which allows for physically challenged individuals to participate, or custom made tours for e.g. families.
